Members can accrue Marriott Bonvoy points just by using their timeshare or through everyday activities like dining out or shopping. You can also convert Vacation Club points to Bonvoy points on a limited basis. Check your deed for more details on how often you can do this.
Marriott Bonvoy Points can be redeemed for stays at non-timeshare properties or for perks like upgraded rooms, free flights, and local experiences. Since a vacation club membership is a long-term commitment, Marriott Bonvoy points are a great added value. Use them to cut down on travel costs, add extra luxuries, or even to change up your vacation entirely.
If you’re really craving a change, the Interval International (II) vacation exchange program allows members to trade their club points for cruises, tours, or stays at affiliated resorts that aren’t part of the Abound program, such as Disney Vacation Club properties.
