Park City Mountain has 7,300 acres of skiable terrain and over 330 trails to race down! Needless to say, with that many trails, intermediate and expert skiers in particular have plenty of ways to test their skills. Still, you shouldn’t be worried if you’re less experienced. There’s still plenty of beginner terrain and a great ski school to help you get situated. Plus, you can trade your skis for a snowboard at the mountain’s seven terrain parks! Speaking of downtown, it’s another great spot to visit! Whether you’re coming right from Hilton Grand Vacation Club Sunrise Lodge or skiing down from the mountain, downtown Park City is worth exploring. Long before it became a world-famous ski town, Park City was known as a silver mining town in the 1800s. You can still see shades of this past in main street’s many historic buildings. There’s also the Park City Museum, which features exhibits about the town’s mining past, the great fire of 1898, and many other tidbits about Park City’s history. You’ll also find plenty of great restaurants to dine at while you’re in town. Be sure to swing by the No Name Saloon in particular for its Wild West vibes, bison burgers, and diverse beer and whiskey menu.

Hiking Around Park City

Park City is surrounded by beautiful forests. So, trade your snow shoes for hiking boots and check out the many stunning trails around the town. Start with the Armstrong Trail to have a relatively short and approachable trek in the wilderness. This trail is a great spot for birdwatching, so you may spot some colorful feathered friends while you’re there. For something a bit more challenging but with a stunning view, visit Charlie’s 9k. This much-longer trail hovers right around a 9,000 foot elevation and takes you through huge alpine meadows with beautiful flowers and dense forests. With the kind of elevation you’ll have, you’ll enjoy great views of the Wasatch Mountains. Want to experience lakeside tranquility? Then you can’t go wrong with the Lofty Lakes Loop, which takes you around four tranquil lakes.
