Situated on the Verde River, this 300-acre oasis in the high desert is surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Red Rocks to the north, Mingus Mountains to the west and the Hackberry Mountains to the south. The climate is moderate year-round. Rich in geological and cultural history, the area provides hours of exploring and sight-seeing from the famous ghost town of Jerome to the Red Rocks of Sedona at the southern end of Oak Creek Canyon. This preserve is a wonderful starting point for scenic drives through the Red Rocks area, which are ablaze with many colors. There are a wide variety of family friendly attractions and activities located nearby. Rental units are available.
