Thousand Trails- Colorado River

This preserve lies among green fields and pecan groves along the shores of the Colorado River, midway between Houston and San Antonio. Abundant wildlife including deer and armadillo, can be seen throughout the campground. Hiking, canoeing, and fishing are popular activities. On site activities include tennis, horseshoes, lake and river frontage, pool, general store, game room, mini golf, volleyball, shuffleboard, a family rec center, hot tub, adult lodge, and an on site chapel.
