assured to have a front row seat looking at the ocean right outside our
door. The bar height table on the lanai is perfect for whale watching and
the general feel and serenity of having the ocean to yourself.
The resort and units have recently been updated. The Koa Units have 2
bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A king in the master bedroom and 2 twins in the
second room. It has a full size fridge and fully equipped kitchen -
everything you would need.
There is a homey feel to this resort. It has a washer/dryer and all
conveniences. No air conditioning but with all of the windows fully
opened and being on the ocean front, it is very comfortable. With the
windows open, not only do you feel the breeze, you sleep to the relaxing
sound of the ocean waves hitting the rock wall in front of your haven.
Hono Koa is only a few blocks from a farmer's market, snorkel renting
store, grocery store, and an ABC store. There are many great places to
eat nearby.
In the resort there is a good size pool, jacuzzi spa, loungers, grills,
and expansive grassy areas.
It's close to several great beaches including Kaanapali, Napili, Kapalua,
and Fleming.
The staff are so friendly and try to accommodate us in whatever we might
need.
