Most restaurants and establishments outside of Lahaina were open and running, including the nearby Safeway. Whaler's village is back open with many shops and restaurants to choose from. This lovely Guestroom Studio Garden View unit is available in the Original towers for one full week at the popular Marriott Maui Ocean club on Kaanapali Beach, Maui. There are no added resort fees, and the taxes on the studio are only around $3.25 per day (from front desk 2024 rates--saves a roughly 14%+ hotel tax if renting through the lobby.) This resort features many amenities and fun activities all included with your rental! Sleep up to 4 people and enjoy free self-parking only available for owners and their renters (approximately $27 per day savings). Valet parking is $30 per day (2023 rates). The Guestroom has a separate kitchenette nook with a microwave, toaster, under counter refrigerator, blender (may need to request it), cutting board, utensils and service for 4. More kitchen ammenities available free by request from housekeeping. Each unit has it's own private lanai with a beautiful mountain/or garden view. Free washer/dryers are available for use below in the basement area of the Lanai towers steps from the main pool. There is also a common kitchen area right across from the front desk where you can use your pans to cook on the stove and have access to a large toaster oven. You can request pans from guest services if not available. There are two BBQ areas at the base the large super pool with waterfalls and two jacuzzis, and towel hut. The main pool area also has a large slide, a poolside bar, umbrellas and lawn chairs and and a separate pirate ship and sand area for small children. You have full-access to all the other resort amenities, including the two smaller pools with jacuzzis at the base of the other two towers. Starbuck's, a beach cafe and a new restaurant, Longis are all on site, along with a salon, a florist, a lobby and surf shop, a spa, a jeweler, a photographer and workout gym with an ocean view. Marriott's Maui Ocean Club is a beautiful beachfront resort best known for it's acres of swimming with 3 saline pools, a water slide, four large jacuzzis, water volleyball and basketball and a pirate ship and pebble sand area for small children. Daily free activities are available for kids, families, and adults such as sand castle-building contests, scavenger hunts, art projects, bocce ball, bingo, Texas Hold 'Em & Poker tournaments with great prizes! All pool and workout facilities are included in your room rental (no resort fees!). A few optional activities are available for a small fee including beach fishing, kids night out babysitting, etc. Marriott's Maui Ocean Club is within 8-15 minutes walking distance to Whaler's Village shopping center with many shops and restaurants to choose from if you don't have a car.
