• Hotel total cost includes a 10% hotel tax whereas the average U.S. hotel tax is currently around 13.4%.
• Timeshare total cost includes an increase in maintenance dues each year of 3%, as well as an estimated $1,000 in closing and transfer costs. These are estimated and will vary by state, county and resort.
