    Resort Updates
Families can enjoy guided activities such as Hawaiian hula shows, poolside bingo, lawn games, culture scavenger hunts, botanical tours, movie nights and more. In the spirit of celebrating Hawaiian Culture, be inspired to visit the Pu‘uhonua Cultural Center, located near the lobby, offering an immersive experience in local tradition. Staffed by cultural specialists, the center features activities including lei-making, ukulele lessons and "talk story" sessions, promoting a deeper appreciation for the islands’ history and customs.

Celebrations of global cultural events and national holidays bring added vibrancy to the resort through the year. In February, Owners and guests welcomed the Lunar New Year with a lively Chinese New Year celebration. The event featured traditional dancing lions, festive displays and the symbolic feeding of lions with cabbage and monetary
offerings, customs believed to encourage good health, prosperity and good fortune in the year ahead.

Through January and February, the pool slide received a full
resurfacing and the water-play area was refreshed to provide a brighter, more inviting space for families.

The Food and Beverage team continues to elevate the dining experience at Mauka Makai with innovative offerings, including a Sunday brunch featuring live Hawaiian entertainment. Weekly themed dinner menus, such as Prime Rib Thursdays, provide additional opportunities for memorable culinary experiences.

Westin Wellness programming remains a favorite among Owners and guests. Morning Aquafit sessions, along with weekly yoga and Zumba classes on the oceanfront lawn, offer refreshing and energizing way to support personal well-being during each stay.

Housekeeping introduced a refreshed owner-participation program designed to streamline villa preparation and maintain the high-quality villa experience Owners expect. Simple actions at checkout help the team care for each villa efficiently while preserving the integrity of the resort’s accommodations.

    Spirit to Serve

Guided by the Hawaiian value of Mālama, to care for and
protect, the Associates of The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas
continue to make meaningful impact throughout the Maui
    community.
In 2025, Associates, Owners and guests collectively raised
$66,000 in support of Hawai‘i’s only Children’s Miracle
Network Hospital, Kapi‘olani Children’s Hospital, surpassing
2025’s fundraising total of $50,500. Additional support was
generated through the sale of charity wristbands at the
Front Desk and through Mauka Makai’s signature Mud Pie,
with proceeds benefiting Children’s Miracle Network.

The resort’s Harvest for Hunger initiative resulted in the
donation of more than 800 pounds of food to the Maui
Food Bank, made possible through Owner and guest
contributions. In alignment with Nanea’s culture pillars of
Culture, Community, and Sustainability, Associates also
participated in a wide r ange of service activities, including
beach cleanups, meal delivery for kupuna (senior citizens)
and displaced residents, the donation of 200 holiday gifts
through the Salvation Army Angel Tree program, and
contributions to Kokua 4 a Cause, a Maui Health nonprofit
that helps provide access to mammograms for women in
    need.

Sustainability efforts also made a significant imp act
throughout 2025. The resort diverted and filtered more than one million gallons of stormwater runoff through property retention basins, helping to protect fragile reef ecosystems and shoreline areas. Participation in the “Clean the World” program further diverted over 4,400 pounds of plastic from landfills.
These initiatives reflect the resort’s continued commitment
to caring for the ‘Āina (land) and supporting Maui’s well
    being.

    Owner and Guest Satisfaction

The resort’s dedicated Associates remain committed to providing warm, attentive service throughout every visit.
From the moment you arrive in the Hawaiian- inspired Lobby, the team strives to create a welcoming environment that ensures each stay ends feeling more enriched than when it began.
Owner feedback continues to play an essential role in enhancing the overall vacation experience. Following each
stay, Owners are encouraged to share insights through the online Owner Satisfaction Survey. These responses help identify what resonates most during each visit and guide ongoing improvements that make future stays at The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas even more seamless and memorable.
