Located one mile from the resort is the famous Kal-Haven Trail, which is a 30-mile nature walk from Kalamazoo to South Haven. It is used for walking, hiking, etc., in the summer and for cross-country skiing in the winter. Also located about five miles from the resort is a ski resort. Open April 1 to October 30.
