The Kahana Beach 1 bedroom units are on the northwest corner of the
building and there only 12 units, one per floor. Both the living area and
the bedroom have balconies with chairs to look out over the beach and the
beautiful views of Molokai and Lanai as well as the whales if in season.
The kitchen is well equipped and we typically use the barbecue grills as
well,, located on the northwest corner of the building just below the
unit and next to the jacuzzi. Catching sun on the Beach or on the pool
deck is also peaceful. I have owned four weeks here for over ten years
and gladly come back again year after year.
Kahana Beach is not high end but the location makes up for it. If you
know West Maui you will appreciate the beauty and many opportunities for
beaches, tours, shopping, dining, golf, hiking and more. The restaurants
in walking distance offer many options and even accessing the Kaanapali
resorts and beaches is within walking distance if you have the energy. We
always have a car for convenience but I could certainly get by without
one if you did your planning well and shopped accordingly at Costco or
the many stores in Lahaina (delivery can be arranged). Lahaina is also
loaded with great dining options.
