Bring the entire family to this fantastic campground resort on the shore of Lake Erie for a wholesome and friendly vacation experience. Dad will love the fantastic fishing that the area is renowned for as he explores the waters of Lake Erie and the Portage River, known affectionately as the 'Walleye Capitol of the World'. Be sure to visit Put-In-Bay and see Perry's Monument, a huge tower rising up above the island. This is the third largest free-standing monument in the US and is truly breathtaking. Also, to really taste the local atmosphere- sip a Bloody Mary from the porch of the infamous Round House Bar. If you still have breath left, try climbing the steps of the nearby lighthouse. The climb and the view are guaranteed to take your breath away! This is a quiet and fun vacation straight from a old storybook.
