The resort is situated in a small town which lies on the famous 'Weinstrasse' (wine route), hosting more than 200 wine festivals between May and October. You can go out on excursions through the Palatinate Forest or visit more than 30 castles, monasteries, and historic ruins. The Black Forest, Heidelberg, and Frankfurt are also attractions in this area, as well as the wine festivals held between May and November.
