Erie Islands is a New England style resort next to a 300-acre wildlife refuge on the Portage River. The harbor provides over 2,500-feet of river frontage and is the focal point for the resort. Dad will love the fantastic fishing waters of Lake Erie, renowned as the 'Walleye Capitol of the World'. Also, to really taste the local atmosphere- sip a Bloody Mary from the porch of the infamous Round House Bar. If you still have breath remaining, try climbing the steps of the nearby lighthouse.
