Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Announces New Accommodations
A popular Disney getaway in Florida, the Animal Kingdom Lodge, has
unveiled Kidani Village, the newest addition to its Disney Vacation
Club resorts.
Kidani Village includes studio to three bedroom
accommodations featuring many of the comforts of home, such as kitchens
and living areas, while allowing guests to view a variety of African
animals roaming the savannah from the balconies.
Each vacation villa also has custom-made furnishings and décor that reflect the natural and animal influences of Africa.
Some
of the other highlights of the new resort include Samawati Springs Pool
and Uwanja Camp, a themed water-play area, as well as Survival of the
Fittest, the new fitness center with treadmills, bicycles, stair
climbers, a basketball half-court and tennis courts.
"We are
entering a new era with Kidani Village as it's the first of four new
properties opening this year," says Jim Lewis, president of Disney
Vacation Club referring to two more timeshare resorts scheduled to open
in Florida and one in California later this summer.
He adds,
"Disney Vacation Club continues to provide value for the vacation
